Covid-19 Situation
As Commissioners of the Tilton-Northfield Water District we recognize how unsettling times are right now. Because of this, we are constantly monitoring the COVID-19 situation and the possibility of its impact on the public water supply. We are watching all notices and publications from NH Water Works, Granite State Water Works and the National Rural Water Associations so we will become aware of any upcoming situations. Rest assured that there are currently no signs indicating COVID-19 has impacted water supplies. We are committed to continue providing you with the safest and cleanest water possible. If you become aware of any situations where someone is having problems with the water, please contact us immediately. Our water operators are available 24/7 in case of any emergency. Our field water operators will be following recommended CDC guidelines and may arrive at your premises with a mask and gloves on for your safety and theirs should an emergency arise.
For the safety and well being of our employees and fellow customers, effective immediately our office will be closed to the public until the Governor has indicated it is safe to open operations. Until that time, our office staff is still in the office and available to answer your calls and our field water operators are doing everything they can to keep our water safe. Please remember that checks and cash are still the only methods available for payment. We are providing envelopes next to our door so you can put your payment into our mail slot next to the envelopes. This mail slot has been updated to a locked box to provide a safe place to deposit your payment. If you would like us to mail a receipt to you as proof of payment, please indicate that and we will send one to you.
We pledge to continue providing you with superior service and safe clean water. The Coronavirus is likely to change over time and we are committed to change as needed. We are here to help you and hope you will call us with any concerns or issues. We hope that everyone remains safe during this trying time.

Covid-19 Update 3/26/20
Per the Stay-At-Home order from the Governor, our offices are now closed until further notice. However, because we are considered an essential company, all employees are currently working so please contact us with any questions or concerns you may have.
Sprinkler, Main Drain & Fire Pump Testing Update as of 3/26/2020
Due to the current COVID-19 situation, and the health and safety of our employees and customers, we are putting off scheduling of all main drain tests, sprinkler tests, pump tests, and any other kind of tests where running water is involved, until further notice. We have discussed this with the local Fire Department and they agree that this is the best way to keep people, and our water system safe until this crisis is over.
Also, for the safety of your employees, if you haven't completed the needed sprinkler counts, the date of March 31st is being extended until such time as the COVID-19 crisis is over or we are in contact with you again needing this information. Thank you for your understanding and stay safe.
