Tilton & Northfield Water Late Fee
Effective with the April 1, 2022 billing cycle a late fee of $30 will be added to accounts whose payments are not received prior to the due date indicated on the bill. Please give us a call if you need to schedule a payment arrangement. If a Payment Arrangement Form is received before the due date, with at least 25% of the billed amount, the late fee can be avoided. However, the total amount of the bill is still due before the shut-off date, which is a few weeks before the next bills are mailed out.
Rate Studies Completed
Occasionally our rates need to be reviewed to make sure that we can continue providing you with the best tasting water possible. Usually that means updates to the system that will cost us additional money. We try to absorb as much of the costs as possible, however sometimes that means passing a rate increase along to you. Prior to our 2020 Rate Study, our rates had remained the same since 2001. Our rate studies have been performed by Raftelis, one of the largest independent rate study organizations.

We are aware that times are tough right now with prices rising. Unfortunately they are rising for us as well. Hydrant Flushing - BrochureHydrant flushing is when we flow large volumes of water from the hydrants to help clean the inside of the water lines. This is completed in April and October. In 2024 the April session will be happening the week of April 22th and the October session will be the week of September 30th.

Tilton & Northfield Water Bill DatesWater bills are sent out on a quarterly bases as indicated below. Due dates are indicated on the bill:

Northfield Sewer Bill DatesTilton & Northfield Aqueduct is responsible for producing the Northfield Sewer bills and receiving the money for these bills only. Any questions or concerns about your Northfield Sewer services, please contact Steve Partridge at 520-7134. Northfield Sewer bills are mailed one month later than the Water bills.
